I’m very excited to share my Cruise ship DJ experience on the brand-new Oceania Vista with you all!

It was an amazing opportunity to entertain guests from the travel industry for 17 nights and play two sets: one party set in the Horizons Bar and one chilled beats set by the pool.

We visited some amazing destinations including parts of Northern and Southern Italy, South of France, Malta, Greece, and Croatia.

My party set was a lot of fun, but also a bit of a challenge. I had to find the right balance between popular hits for all ages that would keep the guests moving and grooving.

I was constantly reading the room and adjusting my setlist to make sure everyone was having a good time. It was really cool to see people from all over the world come together and enjoy the music!

The chilled beats set by the pool was a whole different vibe. The guests were more relaxed and just wanted to chill out in the sun or take a dip in the pool.

I played some mellow tracks that still had a good rhythmic structure to create a nice ambiance without being too overwhelming. It was really satisfying to see people just relaxing and enjoying themselves.

Overall, being a DJ on a cruise ship was an amazing experience. There were definitely some challenges, like dealing with technical issues as my main laptop screen decided to fail (always have backups!) and adapting to the ship’s layout, but it was so worth it.

I got to connect with a bunch of different people and create a really fun and memorable experience for everyone. It was so cool to see people dancing and having a good time and knowing that I was a part of that.

The cruise staff and guests were really positive and gave me great feedback, which was very encouraging. I’m really grateful for the opportunity and hope to have more experiences like this in the future.

In short, my cruise ship DJ experience on the Oceania Vista was an absolute blast. I had an amazing time playing music and connecting with people from all over the world. It was definitely an experience I’ll never forget!
